Electrical Engineer w/ PE license (Commercial Building Design Projects)
Description
Seeking a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in commercial building design projects - including office, hospitality, and multi-family residential. The position requires strong leadership, communication, technical and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of 7+ engineers. We are located in downtown Denver. This is a full-time/perm position. Target salary range is $120k to $160k.
Responsibilities
- Project, departmental management, and interdepartmental collaboration
- Mentoring, training, and oversight of staff.
- Participation in the planning, development, and preparation of construction documents.
- Client business development and nurturing.
- Conduct field surveys, engineering calculations, and assessments of existing building electrical systems.
- Prepare reports of findings and recommendations, cost estimates, specifications.
- Create commercial power-distribution system one-line diagrams, fault-current calculations, protective device series rating and selective coordination, lighting controls, photometric calculations, and lighting/power circuiting design.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
- PE license required.
- Strong management skills.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes.
- Experience with LEED Certified projects.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Visual and REVIT.
