Description
Seeking a mid- to senior-level Contract Full-Stack Developer with experience in React, state management, and serverless systems. Will be responsible for integrating our current business logic, persistence, and state layer into a newly generated UI, while also contributing to backend services on Firebase and GCP. This role includes working closely with internal code-generation agents, so familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows is highly valued.
Location: Hybrid (Denver) (70% Remote, 30% In Office)
Employment: Contract
Team: Product Engineering
Tech Stack: React 19, Tailwind CSS v4, Firebase/GCP, Cloud Run, LangGraph, Python, TypeScript
Responsibilities
- Integrate an existing custom state-management and persistence layer into a newly generated React 19 + Tailwind CSS v4 UI.
- Extend, refactor, and optimize generated React components, ensuring clean boundaries between generated and handwritten code.
- Work with Firebase/GCP services such as Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Identity/Auth.
- Implement and maintain API layers and data access patterns between the React front-end and Python-based AI agents.
- Collaborate with AI engineers using LangGraph-powered agents to ensure front-end workflows align with back-end AI functionality.
- Establish development patterns for working with internal code-generation systems and safely merging generated code with custom logic.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and planning for future releases.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience as a front-end, back-end, or full-stack developer.
- Strong expertise in React (preferably React 18/19) and component-based architectures.
- Solid understanding of TypeScript, state management (React Contexts, Providers, and Hooks, Redux, Zustand, Jotai, or equivalent), and client-side persistence patterns.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS (v3 or v4) and modern styling practices.
- Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions) or GCP serverless tooling preferred, but other serverless environment (AWS, Azure) experience would be considered.
- Familiarity with Python-based microservices, especially on Cloud Run.
- Experience working with AI-powered or code-generation agents (e.g., Codex, Copilot, GPT-based tooling, internal codegen systems).
- Ability to architect clean interfaces between generated and manual code.
- Strong debugging, refactoring, and system-integration skills.
Nice To Have
- Exposure to LangGraph, LLM-oriented workflows, or agent orchestration systems.
- Experience interfacing with MCP servers
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of prompt engineering or AI-driven automation workflows.
- Experience working in fast-moving startup environments.
