Systems Support Engineer (Must be US Citizen/Green Card)

Seeking a hands-on Systems Support Engineer to help with new product & software testing in the lab, and in the field with customer support.

  • Lab and field testing of existing products & prototypes
  • Testing & validation of firmware, and product performance at/above data sheet specifications
  • Testing & troubleshooting customer applications over the phone & in person
  • Writing white papers
  • Systems design including path studies, radio configuration, IP subnetting, and serial communications
  • Remote customer training over GoToMeeting
  • Provide feedback to product development team
  • Some travel may be required to customer sites
  • Knowledge of Ethernet systems, protocols and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Serial communication protocols; RS232/422/485
  • Experience in SCADA-Automation
  • Ability to be hands-on and inquisitive in order to learn; self-starting a must
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts, and make them easily understandable when supporting a customer
  • Experience with Spectrum Analyzer, Cable & Antenna Analyzer, TDR, and Scope
  • Proficiency in Radio Mobile, Pathloss, or any link planning software
  • Knowledge of narrowband licensed/unlicensed VHF and UHF RF systems
  • Experience creating diagrams using Visio
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
