Description
Seeking a Software Sales Rep for a full-time/perm position located in downtown Colorado Springs. The sales rep will present software offerings and benefits to B2B prospects and customers by evoking confidence in the company’s technology and removing all objections in the sales cycle.
To accomplish this, the sales rep must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions with product trials that present business value.
Please Note
- Must be located in the Colorado Springs area
- Will be required to attend weekly meetings in the office
- Starting base salary is $65k to $75k
- First year sales reps average $120k
- Expected travel is 50% to 70%
Responsibilities
- Understand the customer needs and establish the company's product as the best solution
- Build and present solution demos
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
- Respond effectively to RFPs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing software sales role
- Experience with price negotiations and closing deals
- Knowledge of related applications, relational databases and web technology
- Maintain a solid understanding of competition in the areas of product, technology, applications, sales and strategies
- Business analysis skills to determine the project goals from stakeholder interests
